Casa Sicilia Winery Restaurant is the perfect example of a gastronomic space where tradition and entrepreneurship come together
Always looking for restaurants and hotels with a unique and special gastronomic concept, Cooking Europe arrives at the Bodega Restaurante Casa Sicilia in Novelda, Spain.
We wanted to learn and see more about this restaurant and its gastronomic history since its origin. Which is why we made a visit to the cellars, including a subsequent tasting of their best wines and a menu in an unbeatable environment surrounded by vineyards and unique aromas.
We enjoyed a guided tour where we soaked up the secrets and aromas of these remarkable wines and, on the way, learned about the traditional process of winemaking from beginning to bottling. Afterwards, we were invited to visit the restaurant and got a taste of its delicious wines combined with a small appetizer containing the basic products of the Mediterranean cuisine and experienced in full this famous gastronomic concept.
In 2010 the Arias family decided to expand their project with the opening and creation of a restaurant in the old hacienda. In these centuries-old facilities, the chef inspires up the quietness and harmony of the place and produces an exquisite menu. Cooking in an environment surrounded by vineyards, different aromas and sensations, the Chef manages to get the best out of each dish produced.
A menu prepared with the best Mediterranean products and accompanied by Sicilian wines, ensures that the client lives a unique experience in an extraordinary setting.
Casa Sicilia Winery Restaurant is the perfect example of a gastronomic space where tradition and entrepreneurship come together, located in an environment and in a space with more than 300 years of history. Therefore, the restaurant offers us a gastronomic experience that is proud of the roots and products of Mediterranean cuisine.
When at Cooking Europe we create a gastronomic concept for a hotel, restaurant or bar, we always keep in mind the importance of the location and the culture of the region. It is important to know and analyze where this new gastronomic project is going to start in order to reflect it in the identity of our hospitality establishment.
Also, at Cooking Europe we carry out a business plan with an exhaustive market study, taking into account the type of restaurant, the target audience, the competitive gastronomic offer or the perception of the brand by the guest, among many other factors.
Likewise, the integration of the region’s basic product, as Bodega Restaurante Sicilia does with the grapes, is a way to forge the identity of the restaurant. Cooking Europe reflects in its gastronomic projects the importance of the raw produce. Considering the product as one of the main elements for marketing in the restaurant.
